Selectus Feature Focus: Comparative Assessments
In our Feature Focus series, we’ll be reporting periodically on interesting features and functionalities in Selectus that facilitate the work of the selection committee and administration.
In this article, we present the new feature for requesting comparative assessments directly in Selectus
At many universities, the guidelines for appointment procedures stipulate that comparative reviews must be obtained from external experts for short-listed candidates. In Selectus, such comparative assessments can now be obtained very easily and with little effort and made available to the selection committee.
The new “Comparative assessments” feature works along similar lines to the existing “Expert” feature.
However, the process differs insofar as an expert can be assigned not only a single application, but rather several applications, all of which are to be assessed comparatively.
Subsequently, staff can contact the comparative assessment expert directly from within Selectus by e-mail to request an expert opinion.
Via the link provided in the e-mail, the expert receives access to the released data and documents of all applications which she is to assess comparatively and can uplaod her expert assessment.
The submitted comparative assessment is then automatically visible in the dossier of each assigned application.
